JANUARY REVIEW

Finally guys…finally!!!  This January that had 425,218 days is finally over! Or am I the only one that thought the month was exceptionally long🙄? Haha! Anyways, Happy New Month! January was basically work work work. I started working at my place of primary assignment for NYSC and I totally love the place. But of course, it is still work. I’ve been juggling the 9 to 5 with content writing, running the blog and trying to achieve other non-work related goals. It has been a ride but I’m loving it all the same.😁

This month, some of my goals were to:

• Develop a work out routine

Yeah…I finally did and I realized it actually helps me feel more alive during the day. Plus, I think I’ve shed a few pounds 😂😂. We shall keep pushing.

• Post twice every week

I tried🤦..I really tried but oh well, February is another month and no room for excuses this time. Quality content coming your way as always but more often. Thanks for sticking with me.😘😘

• The Big Chop

I finally did it. I postponed this soo much but here I am. I finally cut my hair😁. I’m happy with my low cut actually but I have no idea what to do with it. If you do, please let me know in the comments section or send me a message using the contact page.

• Read more often

I thought this would be really challenging since I had more work to do but I do enjoy a challenge and so I set it as a goal anyways. Turned out to be easier than I thought. I realized that I waste a lot of time in traffic to and from the office so I invested in eBooks. That way, I can just be reading my books on-the-go. It is really nice because I get to achieve my goal and at the same time help myself from the boredom of just looking outside the window in traffic.😉

GRATEFUL FOR:

• Life

I’m so thankful to be alive. It’s the only way I would be able to blog or do anything actually.☺

• My new work family

These guys are so amazing and they make everything so easy for me honestly. Thank you.

• New opportunities

I’ve been doing a lot of new things, thanks to encouragement from people. I’ve been getting quite a number of new opportunities because of this and it’s such a nice feeling. I’m so thankful for that.

• My Christmas/New Year gift from Accelerate TV ( a lovely pair of Lagoscape sneakers from Keexs). They are so so beautiful and comfortable and I’m definitely going to post a picture when next I rock them. Thank you Accelerate and Keexs.

Yesssssss…..Even though in reality I’m not as excited as I sound, I’m hoping this would help me get excited. So February is my month. 27th is my day. The big 2 0 is on its way lol. I would be posting my birthday wish list soon haha. Wait on it!💃

WHAT I LEARNT IN JANUARY

• It is good to always challenge yourself because the real growth happens when you face those challenges and overcome.
• No matter how long it looks, there is always an end to whatever struggles you might be going through. See how long January looked, yet here we are.
• Involve God in EVERYTHING. No matter how seemingly little.
